Changing fashions are the mirrors of society and its mutations, they express its emerging aesthetic movements. Taking stock of the social and cultural context is increasingly relevant. As a result, when it comes to climate crises, overproduction, reactions to political tensions and struggles for freedom, innovative developments and digital intelligence, our positions are stronger than ever.

How can aesthetics respond to these challenges?

By looking for quality and sustainability in a way that implicates more thought and requires paying more attention to things. By creatively reusing surplus and already existing materials. By exploring new ways to use AI that frees human imagination.

By adopting a more heroic and resilient attitude in line with cultures and mythologies. And finally, through our capacity to adapt to climate change and the decreasing supply of resources with frugal inventiveness and without austerity, by reconnecting with the richness and benefits of nature.

This season our reflection is structure around 4 trends:

  • Unlimited: creativity makes use of new digital tools and an excess of materials to imagine the future with humor.
  • Epic: a need for heroism is expressed in a dark baroque mood influenced by multiple cultures and eras.
  • Adaptation: embrace frugality and reconnect with nature in a hedonist, inventive, comforting atmosphere.

The Inspirations, Envisioning Future(s) trendbook is the result of a creative and collective reflection at Peclers. It combines of multiple and international points of view from with our unique diversity offering a 360° vision.

The book synthesizes creative ideas and concepts of the season. It helps anticipate and understand aesthetic trends and gives the keys to read an entire season. It aims to decipher new models of production and consumption by cross-referencing official and independent sources: from the smaller to emerging signs.

The Inspirations book is a transversal tool. Aesthetic concepts of the book are designed to be adapted to each of our clients’ sectors: fashion, beauty, design… The book offers a reading grid of aesthetic trends in general. We believe that all sectors can learn from each other. Inspirations allows us to decompartmentalize and think out of the box.

Combined with the Colors book since 5 seasons, it gives a constructed entryway into aesthetics which helps in product creation and design, while bridging with certain directions of the Colors book.
